"LaLou was a love letter to wine named after one of the iconic and revered woman in wine, LaLou Bize-Leroy. Prospect Heights was a booming area that lacked a space for those passionate about wine. The wine list grew to over 500 selections of minimal intervention small production wines. The design mirrored the wines with a minimalist take and natural materials. It quickly became one of the top wine bars in the US, Newsweek's Readers choice top wine bar of 2024 and Tasting Table's 2022 "20 Best Wine Bars in the US, Ranked."
